Very true. One who actually understands society never oppose reservation what is now. Although politicizing it and asking for more is not a good thing to do.

Mr Teacher, will you explain this. SC, ST seats are limited in any exam. 2 candidates are there from dalit community. One belongs to rich family, all kind of coaching. Other from poor family, can't get proper prepn. Now tell me, isn't this rich dalit is looting the poor one?

There should be scholarships for the reserved candidates But the selection at all levels should be on merit

The solution is not to oppress meritorious students today who had nothing to do with a crime which isn't even being committed today. Have reservation keep it below 50% & reducing every 5/10 years by 2% and incentivise merit, also provide grass root support to ScStObc

Whatever anyone says But no one can justify the benefit of reservation to the same family , generation after generation. Reservation is not for eternity. The criteria must be reviewed. We hv n no of examples where benefit is being grabbed by a certain community & people.

Ban caste system. It's the only way forward. Hindu society has been fragmented purposefully to encourage missionary activities. If reservations have to be given, it should be based on income levels to uplift the poor within the reserved classes. No Reservations for non-hindus
