🚨 Who knows this one ⁉️ 702 ‘Star’ (2002) ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

The Neptunes are the GOATs. I hate that they’re beefing now. Their catalog is so insane.

This song…this album…. Man folks slept on this

“STAR” was one of the best R&B albums of the era. Not a skip on there… Lemme start listing the songs I remember off the top of my head. - Let Your Hair Down (the bridge is crazy) - Star (classic neptunes production) - Trouble (“Whennnnnn your alone with me….”) - Feelings (“Love deserves a chanceeeeeeee”) - I Still Love You (Pharrell went crazy on this! The parts where him and Meelah harmonize towards the end ) - Reality (“Youuuuuuu don’t know what weeeee go thru….”) - Certified (“if u don’t know where yo man is…”) - Places (the reprise at the end that starts after the rain drop “let me show u how it feels to be loved….) quiet storm masterpiece - Blah Blah Blah Blah (The bridge: “you wonder why I don’t call youuuuuuuuu….”) 🔥🔥🔥 - Stringing Me Along (“I been kicking my self ever since / I gave my love to u / 100 percent…”) - Better Day “and daddy touched her wayyyyy tooo muchhhh, yes he did y’all” (Meeelah snapped on that run and I think Faith Evans wrote part of this) 🔥🔥🔥🔥 - Jealousy (“They’re just wishing they could be me”) - I’m Wit it (“It don’t faze me / I’m happy that u out there making yo money….”) I’m sure I probably missed a song or 2 but this album was 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 It was even better than the “Where My Girls At” album which prob was their biggest seller. A great fckin album!!!!

That's when The Neptunes was giving everybody that same damn beat 😂
