I'm divided - it was truly hilarious, too bad the little girl is in therapy for it the rest of her life. I could see my daughter going either way - laughing or reacting like this kid. Hopefully, they comforted her - and laughed.

It's one of the duties, and one of the most fun parts, of being a parent: to either embarrass or traumatize their children. Always in good taste ofc.

People are so quick to throw out buzzwords like Traumatizing. That word should be used for actual serious situations. This is not that serious, and i'm sure the kid forgot about it after a week.

FFS how can people be so cruel, terrifying a kid like that? We wrote in honey, in cursive, on the porch steps so our kids would get a message from all the lined-up ants—surprised kids / laughs all around—would never purposely traumatize them for a laugh.
