What DLSS 5 is and isn't, visualized: Top is Bodycam Game BODYCAM with DLSS 5 injected on a local game. Bottom is the same footage ran through Seedance 2.5 to be reimagined as a jungle trench. DLSS 5 doesn't make your game look real, it's just additional shaders to fix lighting. It doesn't mess with meshes, textures, or anything else, DLSS 5 is literally the same thing as shader packs for Skyrim or whatever with ENB. The AI version has issues as the base footage was lacking the brightness, animations, and visuals to indicate when a weapon swap occurred. If you see anything wildly different, it's because the bump maps for that object are getting shaded like never before. Please note, Nvidia themselves have said that DLSS 5 will need to be tuned by each game developer and isn't meant to be used at random, but there it is. Anything else people have shown is wildly inaccurate.
