These days they put too much emphasis on realism and often miss the plot of good gameplay. I'd take PS1 graphics in a good game over turbo realism and boring unskippable cinematics.

We do need a fix on the PS5 version. Player vs CPU crashes the game when try to start a race. Just let you know.

It feels like total freedom going back to all those classic AAA titles on SNES or PSX. You just play, without worrying about droping tens of thousands on tiny graphics upgrades.

you retroard kids are laughable we were always looking forward for better graphics back then. These were state-of-art graphics at the time, not "glorious retro visuals" but much similar to what DLSS is today. grow up. btw, that's closer to PS2 graphics in detail, not PSX
