The best flight combat simulator on PC at that time for was Fighter Bomber. With F-29 Retaliator at its tail.
Yes, those were some great simulators
Strike Commander
Strike Commander. Wings of Glory with modern fighter planes.
Yes
Fun game
For that game I am still waiting for a CPU! I want 25 FPS in 320x200 but I only get 4. Probably one day quantum computers can help.
I looked at the gif without my glasses on and saw something VERY different 😳
Strike Commander. I played a lot the CD version of that game!
I still have my CD.
Still waiting for a sequel !
Maybe after Star Citizen 😁
You're kidding but that was one of my thought after SC was backed so fast "Maybe after the WC successor he'll do the Strike Commander one" 😅
That f16 game. I can't remember the name. So much fun. The sam missiles kept killing me. I thought I was the only one who remembered this game. None of my friends ever heard of it when I tried to describe it.
Strike Commander (1993)

No, please tell me, I'm looking at getting into these older style games.
More of the game you will see in the next post (at 12) but it's Strike Commander
Strike Commander mentioned, follow deserved. You’ve won this time…
Thank you!
A wonderful gentlemen has made a modern interpreter for the engine.
Remember feeling like a total boss when you could start buying Maverick missles for missions instead of Mk-82s
A great experience
Always lub the stick before...
mediapart
You could fire a missile, and jump camera and watch the guided missile pov fly to and hit it's target. Blew my mind as a kid. Ahead of its time.
It was impressive
