These damn dogs terrorized the neighborhoods everyone talking about pit bulls now I had to survive chow chow’s, Dobermans, Rottweilers, and German shepherd’s growing up in the hood any given morning walking to school could be a track meet 😩

We had 2 Chow chows.. my step grandmother had 1 named bear stay biting the YT kids in the neighborhood..

Had one in my cul-de-sac named Tyson he was mostly on his chain and rarely get off but when he did !!!!!! It was not a tree climbed a car jumped on or a quick escape in the house.

Yea it was in my neighborhood.. he waited every day till we got outta school to run down on us

My grandma had one. Blue tongue was a menace. He lived outside. Grandma was the only one who ever really touched him. Lmao

My grandfather lives on a farm and he had one. The dog was named Butch. He was nice for the most part. He was a true farm dog. He roamed where ever he wanted and came home at night for dinner and had a dog house in the garage. He looked like this.

And they are so cute 🥺🥺🥺🥺 but mean as hell. I had one walk up on me and let out the lowest growl. I just went upstairs and closed the door lol

Yup, I grew up in Daytona Beach, FL. one in my neighborhood was red like this one so we called her Red! Turned out to be a sweet girl, she only chased cuz we was on bikes

😂 so true!! Scariest dog when you’re a kid. They’re so fluffy so you think they’re nice. Got scars on my thigh from thinking one was nice. The purple tounge is great. They were so mean I had to end up getting myself one. She looks innocent but she’d bite you quick 😂

I had a chow mix and he was extra large. He bit 3 ppl and had to go.

Where I grew up my neighbor had a Chow and we had just got a new puppy and one day my mom hears scratching on the door and she opened it and it was the Chow. It barked at her and turned around so she closed the door. A few minutes later it happened again and so this time she walked outside. The dog went off in a direction but it kept turning around making sure she was following. Finally it brings her to a fence and she hears whining. She looks down and sees our puppy, his head is stuck in the fence. He’d been there for a while too. It took a minute but she finally got his neck out of the fence. The chow saved his life

My cousins had a black one just like this 👆🏾in the 80’s maned Tyson. I never been scared of dogs but I didn’t fuck wit Tyson at all. It bit my cousin so my uncle dumped it somewhere. A few weeks later, it had found its way back home. 🤷🏾‍♂️

We had their cousin (Shar-pei) growing up. Those dogs were exactly the same. Theyre 1 family dog (sometimes one person kind of dog) they well protect their homes and property. Never ever was mean to us. But hated the other kids on she street. Lol
