There is a lot of issues with the Fourth Mainland Bridge... The Biggest among them is just political will Two projects in Lagos that will eventually happen, even if it takes 50 yrs The Fourth Mainland Bridge The Lekki Airport Once Lagos is ready,it will happen...it will

It shall be done at appropriate time. The Dallas-Houston rail project has been cooking in the boardroom for almost 30yrs, another round of boardroom cooking is coming up after midterm elections but it shall be done. Y'all are too lazy minded & too Negative about Nigeria!

My issue with 4th mainland bridge is that what probelm exactly is it meant to solve? Our business and commercial hub is Marina/VI/Lekki1/Ikoyi - what we typically call 'the island'. Probably like 80% of the traffic on Lagos roads in the rush hour periods are to/fro island to mainalnd and island to Lekki-Epe axis. I don't see how 4th Mainland bridge helps with that. And the distance from J1 to J9 looks similar to J1 through 3rd mainland to J9. Maybe thats why its struggling to be bankable. However, if its private investors to do 4th Maniland bridge, I assume they will have done their analysis, so they should have at it! But if its LASG money thats going in there, even if its just like 25%, then I'm not convinced its the best use of money at this time, espcially if no proper analysis has been done. The green line (Lekki Ajah to Marina) and brown line (Mile 12 to Marina may be more useful to the people of Lagos in the short to medium term. I'd say do those first and then come back to 4th Mainland in another 10years if really required. With petrol at N1400 vehicles on the roads have reduced sef.

The road will be viable and bankable when the plans for the peninsula fully materialize: Industrial hub, Airport, ongoing Coastal road etc. My argument is more about how the discussion only come up in election season with wild promises.

Which plans for which industrial hub? I haven't seen any proper document on plans for that axis o. And that Lekki airport is another white elephant. MMIA is grossly underutilized. I'll be surprised if MMIA handles up to 80 flights a day. Asides the busy night time between 7pm and 11pm, activity at the airport during the day is very light. Most of these big projects we like to do are just to siphon money, not because they are well thought through. Otherwise all the states building needless airports wouldn't be doing so. See the amount of money spent on these airports, Yet most of them don't even have a intra city bus service. How is it easier to spend N100bln on an airport, but you can't spend N20bln to buy 300buses? Lagos has been short of BRT buses since end SARs in 2020! So Lagos couldn't find N20bln a year for 6 years since then to buy new buses if the people mattered?

No budget for it Mr Bayou My Bayo Friends are intelligent, I don't why yours is diff

All the ones they have done, you didn’t see those ones right? Go and vote your PO in peace. Thank God you only have one vote.

The project is still there, and the vision remains as stated above. If you have the funding, go and take it up, distinguished.

You are acting like you don’t know why that project hasn’t been embarked on?

There is no political will or finance

It's not a project to start, and Abadon needs to fund it 100%. Note: they start it anytime.

Yahoo government

Lagos is a city asleep until it sees an investor. D 4th mainland bridge is somewhere in d file in d Ministry of works in Alausa,it maybe be there for another 20 yrs but d day an investor steps in,it will be a bad dream to many citizens. I have seen enough to know how Lagos works

U think say na 10km bridge dem wan build? U think the state can do it alone? Do u know how much compensation the state will pay those that will be affected? Just continue with Ur clouth chasing o🤞

Bro, they have been using that bridge to campaign since 2003.

These APC lots are scammers.

I would have advised them to quit the plan of doing everything at once. Do it in phases, firstly link the island (from Abraham Adesanya) to Ikorodu. The other parts can come later. J1 to J3 first. The rest can come later

Its been on since 2003 o.. Four aspirants ! Four governors! Four had made it one of their campaign promises...yet nothing . From @officialABAT in 2003 to @tundefashola till 2015... @AkinwunmiAmbode raised my hopes to high heaven when his govt. and Access Bank signed MOU, with a promise to deliver the bridge...at the end, na "sakamanje"" @jidesanwoolu even do plenty film tricks about am when he comot @AkinwunmiAmbode 's catfish at Abraham Adesanya roundabout...I believed that year o...but na govt magic happen Make nobody just promise anything about dat bridge again o, cos dis time I go too provoke.

Are you saying the newly agreed mou for the deep sea port will follow suit ?

Wait until standards alternatives are in place

Thank you for the reminder Many of this type is the hallmark of this ruling party

Scam🤣🤣

😂😂

Idiot the ones they have started and advanced, have you spoken about them?

Has the project even taken off in the first place?

Think FG is conflicted on embarking on the project cos of Coastal Road and Badagry/Sokoto road. It put additional pressure on FG and LASG doesn’t ve the capacity to start cos it’s technically not bankable if it’s not tolled.

![🤣🤣Mike Dean who didn’t send Romero off in the game at Stamford Bridge said it had to be a red card tonight. [sky sports] #cfc](https://image.24vids.com/tw-1864402945682362621/media/Gd-wKByWUAAqhC9.jpg)
