Who remembers Carnell Lake?

@SteelCurtainRis All time great Steeler

He was awesome

I agree was definitely my guy.

Remember him well. Moved to CB when Woodson got hurt and made the pro bowl.

Solid player. Made the move to corner when Rod got hurt. Fit right in and did the job.

Yes absolutely.

Memory lane

Lake is a legend in my book. Moved from safety to CB when Woodson got hurt. It’s not an easy transition but he made it seem like one.

Absolute legend

HELL YEAH MAN WAS AWESOME

Awesome bro 😎

Had his jersey as a kid

Of course I remember him

My favorite Steeler during this era

He was Awesome 👍🏾

He was one of my favorite players

@SteelCurtainRis He was the man! The Woodson/Lake tandem was awesome! #HereWeGo

💪💪 Those Defenses attacked the hell out of offenses..Awesome play makers all over.

How many times did he run down a player about to score and punch the ball out for a touchback

So good…S or CB. Tough too.

He was a beast. 6ft 205lbs 4.36 40 yd dash.

One of the best of his golden generation, Pro Bowl selection as a CB, Free and Strong Safety, just like Ronnie Lott !!!

His son plays for the Rams

I didn’t know that

Quentin Lake

His career was before I was born I know he was one of those “not great but good” players.

He was him bro

@SteelCurtainRis Kinda hard to forget one of the greats!! #UNDERRATED

I do

I remember meeting him and his wife at Station Square one afternoon. Was very easy to talk too and was willing to give me his autograph.

That’s pretty cool

@BryanDeArdo Of course

Then Steeler rookie Carnell Lake came over to Point Park College for our Point Park College, now a university, WPPJ ROCK A THON. Thanks again!

Should be in the hall

Culver High represents!💪🏻

He was my favorite 90s steeler. I met him at a summer FB camp at CMU. He was using the track for off season conditioning drills. He was in the most phenomenal shape I've ever seen. He took the time after his workout to talk and give training tips to a bunch of kids for 30 mins
