• Event: 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics – Ladies’ Singles Figure Skating • Yuna’s age: 19 • Result: Gold Medal (Korea’s first-ever Olympic gold in figure skating!) • Short Program: 78.50 points (World Record) • Free Skate: 150.06 points (World Record) • Total: 228.56 points (highest score in history at the time) • Free Skate Music: George Gershwin – Piano Concerto in F • Highlights: • Every triple jump landed perfectly • Iconic long spiral sequence (her famous “Yuna Spiral” / layback spiral) • Perfect blend of technical difficulty and artistry • Universally called one of the greatest Olympic performances ever

The magnificent yuna kim. This skate program never hesitated to make me cry, it’s just so so good. She’s honestly one of the best figure skaters to grace the ice.

So lithe and graceful and composed, then I remember her crying from the release of all that pressure. Oh, Yuna, I don't know if anyone has ever had more pressure. Being Korea's everything.

She is the best figure skater ever.

Perfectly perfect! 김연아

who is this skater omg

people replying to user yunamaoist with a yuna pfp answering this in earnest 😭😭😭😭

@yunamaoist that time I was surprised about how much money yuna makes and people kept replying being like “she’s really famous in korea!”

@loopcombos lmaooo

김연아 진짜 진짜 레전드지

This the real pride of korea. Not no kpop. Literal goat of figure skating, every pro skater agrees. Was in the motherland for this very routine. Commuters stopped outside electronic store windows to watch. Koreans crying with her after her flawless routine. It was beautiful.

The Best, was and still the best. Used to watched her olympics and her every shows in korea. The Best. Missed her

Greatest performance of all time.

Wonderful yeona Kim. The Queen of legends

Can anyone tell me what music this is, please?

concerto in f by gershwin!

Thank you.

Queen Yuna! there is no equal! Paragon of ice skating!

I love this so much but her send in the clowns SP edges this one out for my favorite

Who doesn’t 🥹 Yuna Kim, once a queen always a queen (when she lit the Olympic flame during the opening ceremony of the Winter Games in 2018, it was so amazing 😭)

I love watching her skate like porcelain pretty doll
