Voted for Ross, I knew government was corrupt even then, like Ronald Reagan said “Government IS the problem, not the solution to your problem”.

Ross Perot was a true American. His work helping POWs in Vietnam is medal worthy.

Voted for him twice (which probably got Slick Willie elected?). I show the young people his 30 minute infomercial. He tried to warn us about NAFTA and the runaway deficit, if only people had listened…

I think he would've been a great president, but the US just wasn't ready for that kind of honesty yet.

@nudawaya Perot was right about a lot, especially "that big sucking sound".

This debate between Ross Perot and Al Gore over the horrible NAFTA Agreement will go down in history vindicating him.

Yep, I voted for him. Didn't want to vote for the head of the CIA.

Would’ve made a great President. I’ll always remember in a debate against Gore on Larry King arguing against NAFTA saying how our manufacturing base and middle class will disappear and said “People that don’t build anything, can’t buy anything”

Mock vote in our school at the time. He won by a landslide! After that experience Trump was the first president I ever voted for.

I voted for him. Imagine Ross Perot, Pat Buchanan (x2), and Ron Paul (x2) as consecutive Presidents: no regime change wars (saving $7T in debt; 18% of interest payments), no rise of China/no off-shore of manufacturing, safe border/sane immigration policy—without loyalty to Israel

this man got 25 million votes unheard of for third party. But mostly genX voted for him because they watched the other 2 parties destroying america shipping jobs overseas, plus nobody wanted the first Iraq war! after this both parties imported millions of voters.traitors!

He was the very first person I thought of when Trump announced his candidacy for POTUS in 2015!! We need a Businessman!! Ross coined the phrase "Let's get to work!" I immediately jumped on Trump's Bandwagon!!

I remember Ross Perot. I voted for him. That was the only time in my 45 years of voting that I didn’t vote Republican.

He only ran because he had a personal grudge against George HW Bush. He ran as a spoiler to help the Democrats. He had zero noble motives.

He is the reason I’ve always believed we need a president who is a successful businessman not a politician. The corruption has been there since before I could vote.

After what we have seen for the past 10 years, I have no doubt that Perot’s allegations of Republican dirty tricks and FBI wiretapping were true. Of course, they were ridiculed as “conspiracy theories” by the usual suspects.
