Simple solution, move the shelf/cart over here. People are more likely to notice the shelf instead of the slightly tinted glass and slow down and asses the situation.

The positioning of that shelf is the daftest. Why not just position it across the glass wall so anyone coming can see they can’t walk through it.

If they see that this is a regular occurrence, the common sense thing to do would be to put something on that end of the window so people realize that it is, on fact, a window & stop bonking their heads into it. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Why weren’t the doors just added to the wall everyone is bumping into? This one’s on the designer. In design, there is a term called “Desire Path.” You design for what people do most and accommodate their convenience. People are stupid. Design for stupid people and you’ll have fewer problems like this.

The designer should be held responsible. Even folks without phones still hit the glass. Maybe 🤔 some kind of signal or something will help at this point.
