Who still remember Richard Jewell the security guard who discovered a bomb during the 1996 Atlanta Olympics and helped save countless lives. Despite being hailed as a hero, he soon finds himself wrongly accused by the FBI and the media, forcing him to fight to clear his name.

Still one of the most overlooked stories of the 90s. Jewell did everything right that night and still got destroyed by the media circus.

I met his mother about 2 years afterwards, she told me some of the stories about how he was treated. He died a broke man because of this.

I was there that night the bomb went off. That man is an absolute hero, the local media was reporting over 100 people dead and 1000 injured on the radio as we evacuated The Atlanta Journal constitution should’ve been sued out of existence for their reporting on Jewel.

To this day, the FBI still hails Ruby Ridge as a success. They never speak of the agent condemned to live under constant protection on government bases after killing a young boy and his mother, enduring daily death threats. Who audits the FBI? They are scum.

The FBI is a shitdhow organization. They have been since thier inception. Richard Jewel is a prime example of how lazy they are.
