Absolutely loved it and a great theme tune just heading the theme brings me back to my childhood, looking at TV nowadays we really were spoiled for tv shows in the 80s iconic shows

I still watch it. 70’s and 80’s tv shows like this are great. Give me Love Noat, Rockford Files, Quincy, etc and I’m happy! Tubi and Pluto tv are great for finding old shows and both are free.

Fun fact: the black officer on CHiPs was played by Michael Dorn, the same guy who played Worf in Star Trek: The Next Generation

I remember the 50 car pileups at the beginning of every episode. Must have been 10 episodes where some guy burned his junk with a cigarette.
