#WATCH | The Northern Range of the Delhi Police Special Cell has busted an alleged ISI-backed, Pakistan-based espionage network and arrested a Delhi-based couple accused of working for Pakistani Intelligence Operatives (PIOs) through social media since 2024, officials said. The accused have been identified as Md Sahil and his wife Sameera. According to police, the couple allegedly provided logistical support to Pakistan-based handlers, including procuring Indian SIM cards and sending them to Pakistan via Dubai. Watching and hearing about the stampede in Bangalore made me wonder where we are going ! This is not a national team winning the World Cup ! It’s a mere franchise called RCB which works on commercial lines and does not have a single Hyderabad player in it !? It’s not even a #Hyderabad based team ! The night round officers were totally taken by surprise at 12 in the midnight as hordes of youngsters and revellers descended on Tank bund ,NTR marg and Necklace road and behaved in an unruly manner, sample of which you can see in the videos below, quite alarmingly. Traffic got jammed in all directions . Seeing the situation and the hooliganism , extra forces were rushed and a lathi charge done to disperse the unruly crowd.From a police officer’s perspective, this unannounced celebrations on the streets by large gatherings are a big danger to public safety and may lead to exactly what we saw in Bengaluru. What if there were some deaths in Hyderabad too ? Can anyone expect celebrations for RCB in Hyderabad city ! But with the social media playing a huge role across the country and the globe , perhaps police has to be alert for everyone and everything in future ! Is it humanely possible to do so - is what I am wondering 🤔

The incident took place when staff member Akash requested the mandatory identification documents from the guests as part of the standard check-in procedure. According to the complaint filed by the victim, the accused reacted aggressively, attacked Akash on the head, and allegedly said, “We are locals. Hyderabad Police have busted a bizarre “Gupta Nidhulu” racket where the gang convinced people that hidden treasure was buried beneath their homes. They would dig the ground, secretly plant a sack containing coal and fake gold coins, perform the act, and then tell the victims that the coal needed some time to transform into gold. By the time people realised coal wasn’t becoming gold, the gang was gone. Police identified the accused as: Mohd Munawar alias Munna, Gudimalkapur Syed Ali Ashraf, Farhan Nagar, Jawahar Nagar Mohd Haji, Balaji Nagar, Jawahar Nagar Mohd Salman, Yadagiripally, Keesara Shamshabad Task Force, along with Rajendra Nagar Police, arrested the four and seized 25 fake gold coins, 6 kg coal, 4 kg soil, pooja material, 2 cars, an auto, 2 motorcycles and 4 phones. A case has been registered at Rajendra Nagar Police Station. ₹1 crore lesson: Coal is coal. Even Gupta Nidhulu can’t change that.

According to Cyberabad Police: On 16.08.2026 at about 15:00 hours, a fatal road accident occurred in front of Inorbit Mall, Madhapur, Hyderabad. The deceased, Bharati Mukhi, aged 26 years, was working as a Sales Girl at Lifestyle Store, Inorbit Mall. On the said day, she, along with her colleague Pooja Ashok, had gone near ITC Kohenur to bring meals. While they were returning towards Inorbit Mall and crossing the road in front of Inorbit Mall, a car bearing registration No. TG-09-G-0666 allegedly came at high speed and in a rash and negligent manner and hit Bharati Mukhi. Bharati Mukhi sustained a severe bleeding injury to her head and was immediately shifted to Apollo Hospital, Jubilee Hills. However, the duty doctor examined her and declared her dead. The deceased has been identified as Bharati Mukhi, a native of Odisha state. According to Cyberabad Police: On 16.08.2026 at about 15:00 hours, a fatal road accident occurred in front of Inorbit Mall, Madhapur, Hyderabad. The deceased, Bharati Mukhi, aged 26 years, was working as a Sales Girl at Lifestyle Store, Inorbit Mall. On the said day, she, along with her colleague Pooja Ashok, had gone near ITC Kohenur to bring meals. While they were returning towards Inorbit Mall and crossing the road in front of Inorbit Mall, a car bearing registration No. TG-09-G-0666 allegedly came at high speed and in a rash and negligent manner and hit Bharati Mukhi. Bharati Mukhi sustained a severe bleeding injury to her head and was immediately shifted to Apollo Hospital, Jubilee Hills. However, the duty doctor examined her and declared her dead. Based on the complaint, Crime No. 1238/2026 was registered at Madhapur Police Station under Section 106(1) BNS, and investigation was taken up. During the course of investigation, the identity of the person who was allegedly driving the vehicle at the time of the accident was ascertained as Lingameneni Sanjush, S/o. Lingamaenei Ramesh, aged 21 years, Occ: Business, R/o Hitech City, Madhapur. On the same day he was apprehended and conducted Drunk and Drive test and drug test to the accused. A 35-year-old man was allegedly murdered by his cousin in Idtalli village of Shirasi taluk, Uttara Kannada district. Police are investigating whether a suspected extramarital relationship involving the accused and the victim's wife was the motive behind the killing. The deceased has been identified as Parameshwara Babu Naik (35), while the accused, Parameshwara Thimma Naik (27), is absconding. According to police, the two were maternal cousins who had grown up together under the same roof and were regarded as brothers by their family. Investigators said the accused was allegedly involved in a relationship with the victim's wife for the past one to two years. Police suspect that the victim had recently come to know about the alleged affair and had confronted the accused, leading to escalating tensions between them. According to the preliminary investigation, the accused allegedly asked the victim to accompany him outside for a conversation on the night of the incident. As they reached a nearby forested area, the accused is alleged to have attacked Parameshwara Babu Naik with a sharp weapon, causing fatal injuries. He allegedly fled the scene immediately after the assault. Shirasi Rural Police visited the spot, conducted a preliminary inspection, and sent the body for post-mortem examination. A case has been registered, and a search operation is underway to trace the absconding accused. Police said the motive behind the murder is under investigation, and further inquiries are in progress.

A postgraduate medical student from GSL Medical College is undergoing treatment on ventilator support in Hyderabad after a car allegedly driven by an intoxicated man rammed into a scooter outside Prasaditya Mall on AV Apparao Road in Rajahmundry. The incident occurred on August 3, and a video purportedly showing the crash surfaced on social media on August 6. According to Prakash Nagar police, two men, identified as S. Dasvanth and Andrew Joseph Edwards, had allegedly arrived at the mall's Saradhi Cinemas in an intoxicated state. Police said security personnel stopped them from entering after a breathalyser test reportedly confirmed alcohol consumption, following which the duo allegedly assaulted security staff before leaving for the parking area. Around the same time, GSL Medical College students Sai Umesh, a Radiology postgraduate, and Priyanka, a Dermatology postgraduate, were leaving the mall on a scooter. Police said Dasvanth, who was driving a Tata Nexon car, allegedly hit the scooter from behind twice in a rash and negligent manner. When the riders were on the main road outside the mall gate, the car allegedly struck the scooter again, causing both students to fall. The injured students were rushed to Swatantra Hospital in Rajahmundry by a passerby. While Umesh suffered a concussion, Priyanka sustained serious injuries, including a skull fracture and brain injury, and was later shifted to KIMS Hospital in Hyderabad, where she remains on ventilator support. Earlier reports claimed that the car ran over Priyanka after the collision. However, Prakash Nagar Police Station officials said this was not accurate and that the investigation was based on available evidence. Police said two FIRs have been registered in connection with the incident. A case based on Umesh's statement has been filed against Dasvanth and Edwards under Section 125(b) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
