Except it isn't true? Women started entering the workforce more out of necessity during WW2. War was over, and it turned out they liked having autonomy and being able to have careers.

having the freedom do as one pleases takes precedence over either narrative. freedom of personal choice is most important here. there is no “right” or “wrong” path for a woman. All agenda pushers, regardless whether a twitter user or media outlet needs to understand that.
