OK, here’s a flaw, if your spouse is in the shower and you want to use the toilet, your spouse is now exposed to anybody passing the bathroom because the door is only covering the toilet closet.

This door has 2FA, you can lock it both ways. The flaw is that when two people want to use the space, one will be exposed to passersby while the other remains secure. It works well for a self-contained ensuite room but creates chaos when placed in a passageway.

All Express by Holiday Inn bathrooms are like this and have been for years!!! Some people really need to get out more ..

I've always thought Japan had it right in that the toilet is typically a room of its own (in homes, not hotels, etc.) - Western bathrooms where you'd be in a bath with the toilet bowl by your head never made sense to me.

I like it, BUT what if someone is taking a dump and you need to take a shower at the same time, who gets the door? 🤔
