Funny thing is that he the same career defensive rating as CP3, who’s known as all time great defender simply because he was good at getting steals, that’s it. If he can make 9x all-defensive while being blown by all the time, being too small to guard anybody but guards, not getting rebounds or blocks, but simply for having quick hands, Russ should have made at least 10 for actually locking people down, chasedown blocks, securing defensive rebounds, steals etc.
