So excited to see this. We are running user studies on how higher-level interaction specification impacts EDA, and we’ve been surprised by just how much of a difference easy interaction specification alters analyses!

I’m not. Can anyone really be? The future is a capricious lover.

I am! Hacked together my own solution last year but would love something out of the box (that I don’t have to maintain).

We had to hack together our own tooltips a while back. It worked, but was complicated and slow. It will be nice to see a more carefully thought out standard version.

Is it reasonable to assume that most of the groundwork on the interaction layer should lead to selection / drill down type behavior pretty quickly, or is that another decent sized architectural challenge?

It’s related but also different. We’ll work on that next.

I know estimation is impossible, but any gut feelings on timeline, like a month, or a quarter? I hope this isn't coming across as entitled, just excited to replace all our existing charting layers with plot!

Nice voronoi I’m assuming :)

Equivalent to Voronoi, but it’s just a scan of the data on pointermove to find the closest point. There’s a configurable maximum radius.
