LILY's LILOMON Balance Game 🐬 Discovering a song with a really good melody but you don't like the lyrics VS A song with beautiful lyrics but you don't like the melody 🐨 This one is really easy for me. Even if I don't like the lyrics, if the song itself is good, there are quite a few songs I still listen to. If I don't like the music, the musical elements, the melody, or the instrumental, I don't even listen to it in the first place. Honestly, I think there have been a lot of times where a song becomes even better because the lyrics are just so, so good. Since we're on the topic, let me recommend a few songs where I think the lyrics are really amazing. There's a song by Noah Kahan called 'Willing and Able'. The lyrics to that song are really sad. But the melody and the instrumental are also really good. I recommend that one! Also, one of Taylor Swift sunbaenim's songs. There's a song called 'The Prophecy'. The lyrics for that one really resonated with me. It's a song I truly love and adore.

When Mejja was performing for high school students, he reached the line “Mimiii Ka Ni Vajoo Nyanyua” and paused. The DJ quickly realised things were about to get inappropriate, so he immediately switched the song to Siaka Siaska. Watching the live performance, I felt so embarrassed seeing how the kids were struggling to pronounce some of the words in Mejja’s lyrics. Unfortunately, those are exactly the songs they love singing. So what can we do? For example, in the song Nairobi, there’s a line that goes “Ikaingiaa Ndaaani Ndaaani…” — the moment it played, I was just like, “Whaaaat is this?!”

steven talking about the time he saw iu’s bleuming lyrics at the same filming location he had back in the day 🦊: you know, i really like IU sunbaenim's songs a lot~ back in the day, there was this shoot i had to do and the day before, IU sunbaenim had a filming there (in the same location). and there was this a4 paper so i looked at it and at the top it said 'blueming' and the lyrics were written all the way down.. but since it was just lyrics, there was no lee jieun written, no IU sunbaenim or anything like that either, so i was just like 'what is this? no way...' but in the song lyrics there was.. jieun—anyway sunbaenim's name was written on it. yeah so i was like 'ah i think this is it' but even after realizing that i didn't really get that flutter of excitement or anything. because i didn't know the song so i was just like 'ah the lyrics are good~' and that was it. and i probably tore that paper and threw it away 🐯: you did really well, you disposed it on her behalf 🦊: ㅎㅎㅎㅎ it's cute and funny how steven just tore up the paper since the song wasn't released yet at the time ᄏᄏᄏᄏ #아홉 #AHOF #스티븐 #STEVEN

gunil said he wrote 'helium balloon' with the perspective of talking to his younger self 🐹 personally, the xdiz song i've been listening to the most these days is 'helium balloon'. up until now, i've written lyrics for quite a few of our songs while promoting with xdiz. out of all of them, i think 'helium balloon' is the one i'm most satisfied with. it's probably my favorite set of lyrics that i've written. ithink it'll probably stay at the top of my personal ranking for a long time, among all the songs i've written lyrics for. 🐹 since i brought up 'helium balloon', let me share a little tmi. the "you" in the lyrics could be interpreted as another person (someone else) but when i was writing them, i also wanted them to be read as if i were talking to my younger self. as i was growing older, i found myself looking back on childhood. the excitement i had back then, the innocence i had... and missing those days. 🐹 so i wrote the lyrics in a way that they could also be interpreted from that perspective... as someone who's grown up, looking back with longing at their younger self. so if you keep that in mind and listen to the song again, paying attention to the lyrics, i think you'll be able to experience them in a completely new way

Hold You Forever - an original song for Aemeath The lyrics for this piece were actually written many years before Wuthering Waves was released. I was in a very dark place in life, and I made the song about themes of loss, loneliness/isolation, and reaching for hope.
