Shit etiquette. Always ask before you start pulling cards out.

Yeh 100% agree. Do think it was a bit of an overreaction from both parties. The guy holding the card was very careful with it.

IDK, you’re talking about a card worth several thousands of dollars. I would not be happy about it either.

That’s fair enough. 100% should have asked permission like I said but if I was the seller in that situation I would have let it slide just because of how careful he was with it. Everyone is different though.

These guys were assholes trying to say no one would buy this card and diminishing his card, all cause they don’t do their jobs properly

Hooded Asian was a dick. Boasting about experience in handling high end cards but couldnt take the critique of not opening a case without permission. Then tossing the cards like a spoiled brat. Seems like a scammer more than someone who makes honest trades.

As much as I believe always ask permission, does the seller really think buyers of a $2000 card dont need to take it out of the sleeve before negotiating and committing? Holy ponchos tho, my god

"we handle high end stuff all the time" LMAO if you really do handle high end stuff on the reg. you know 1000% YOU personally would be ticked if some customer you dont know, even if they had experience took cards (expensive ones, near mint at that) and took the out of the sleeve.

Comments are wild. He said he wanted to sell/trade. That opens to floor to inspecting cards to the buyer. Hold on, you want them to buy the cards without looking at the raw card? Yall on something fr.

Taking moonbreon out of top loader and sleeve without asking is pretty wild tho. I’d be freaking out too lowkey

ALWAYS GET PERMISSION OF OTHER PEOPLES PROPERTY. Like if i went to a car meet in my lambo and had the door up and some rando just got in it to sit on the driver seat, id be pissed, NOW on the other hand if they asked I would gladly say yes. It really boils down to etiquette

This is why Pokemon cards need to dump These mfs need a reality check

Comments are Wild. If he did that to the vendors, their response would be the same to him. Respect other people’s shit fam. You dont go to check out a car and just jump in for a test drive. By this same logic, customer could just open scalpers case and start touching/grabbing whatever he wants incase he “may” buy it for 70-80% of the lowest last sold on eBay.

If you’re taking your cards to a vendor to potentially sell you know what’s gonna happen next. Vendors are 100% in the right here

WeeEe HanDLeEE hIGH EnDdD cArDS. Yeah dude. I’m a father, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to pick someone else’s kid. I’m sick of these types of people. Good on seller for calling him out.

The asian guy just crashes out for no reason. Yea the guy was a little short with them when he said put it back in the sleeve but the asian guy instantly goes nuclear passive aggressive & goes to " we deal with cards worth thousands." Passive aggressive is the worst.

I was going to be on the vendors side at first but then they couldn't even find the sleeve or top loader, they should have asked and the card shouldn't have been changing hands so much. An apology followed by "Yea, we're not making a deal" is childish also, unnecessary reaction.

Should have asked permission? Sure. But the attitude was way too corny.

vendor lmfao when you set the binder down for them to look at it your implying they are going to buy.. ofc they will pick a card up and look lol.

Anyone selling should understand that anyone who isn't a clown will/should inspect the card outside of a sleeve.

dewdrops's profile picture

complete over reaction from the vendor. the seller asked politely, and he was right to say that the vendor should have asked. the best jewelers in the world ask for your permission before touching a single gram of gold, but this vendor thinks he has infallible hands. amateur.

So dude wants to sell cards and then doesn’t want ppl to take them out of the toploader? IMO permission to take cards out of the toploaders is given when I ask if you wanna buy my cards. If I can’t, I’m not buying.

If you’re putting a 3k card out of the sleeve you HAVE to ask. Just like other customers ask venders if they can take there $12 IR out of the case, it’s an automatic yes but also needs to be asked. This Cuck man and Robin due think they’re immune to all precautions for w/e reason

Vendors think they don’t have to ask permission because they handle alot of cards lol the logic behind that 😂

The dealers forget they’re handling someones most prized cards. They lose the reverence , sentiment of collecting bc they view it more closely to an asset than a collection that’s taken decades to curate with memories for each card. It’s not wrong but it’s inconsiderate

1 - Guy doesn't ask to take out a very expensive card. 2 - Vendor asks nicely to please put it back in sleeve. 3 - Guy then argues with the vendor and insists they know how to handle cards. 4 - Guy sulks and cancels deal when vendor upset with their attitude/approach. Guy sucks.
