Because it's a circle split into an even number of numbers. Therefore the two opposing sides will always add up to the top number and the bottom number will always be half of it. It's not deep at all. 🙄

Nonsense. Why is 13 the correct answer? 12 + 1, 11 + 2, 10 + 3, 9 + 4, 8 + 5, and 7 + 6 all equal 13. And none of them are odd numbers, either.

Se pone más interesante cuando empiezas sumando 12+1 y terminas con el 7+6

Why 12? That's easy, its how a continuous series of numbers, in this case 1-12, works If the clock face had 24 numbers instead of 12, & you did the same thing, the resulting sums would be 24, 23+1=24, 22+2=24, 21+3=24, 20+4=24, . . 15+9=24, 14+10=24, 13+11=24 & you'd ask why 24

This is stupid. If you pick any number, and then start with 1 + the next highest number, they're going to match until the midpoint (if an even number) because you're adding 1 on one end of the scale and subtracting one on the other end. The internet can be so dumb.

The real answer is the Sumerians. The way they counted was in factors of 12, not 10. In fact, its why eleven and twelve are not oneteen and twoteen... why there are 12 months and other things. You can blame the first recorded civilization for this.

Base 12. How ancient people use to count around the world. It steams from your hand, specifically the segments in your fingers. 3 segments per finger, 4 fingers on 1 hand, 12. Some parts of the world still use base 12 for math.

Center is 12, you add and minus same number from 12, so final answer remains 12 only, no logic in it
