Language is a TOOL—like a machete. Do we argue over which blade to use, or do we CUT THE CHAINS? Africa has 10,000 tongues, but ONE true language: LIBERATION. Economic freedom doesn’t care if you speak Swahili, Igbo, or Amharic—it cares if you UNITE & FIGHT.

Outside the substance of what he’s saying here, to see and hear Ngugi Wa Thiongo speak is just a wonderful thing. Just so happy to see and hear speak about anything. He was my first love of African authors. His name is literally like magic.

Because their head isn't correct. The borrowed culture can't cover their naked bodies. Let Africans read their comparative history of human race: Negro /Black, Mongolian, and Caucasian. How far we have gone right from the word go.

Wa Thiongo said Africans were made to hate their languages! He actually put it lite!! Africans now hate themselves!!! Check how African ladies go the mile to try to have hair that looks like other nationals and all that so! Pre- school, in my country toddlers speak English!!
