Because they are garbage? Oxidation. Dirty weak connections. Resistance and heat buildup. Just dont.

This is the stupidest thing ever if a ground or hot isn't tight and you hit a bump it could fry everything in your car

They bend after a few uses, not a great solution, I tried them on my camping leisure battery.

Depending on where you live, I’d be worried about hitting a pothole and the damned thing pop off.

Cool, battery terminals that insure you can’t use jumper cables 🤣🤦‍♂️

I would urge people not to use these, not enough metal in the connectors and comparatively poor contact with the terminals for such a high current application, this is why they are not usually fitted, also jump starting access to the positive is an issue.

Don’t buy this, majority of the vehicles won’t have room for it.

They have been on the go for years. I remember connecting a leisure battery in my parents caravan (around 30 years ago), with them.🙄

Don't know what to tell you guys, but the 12 volt under my F-150 hybrid hood has a factory cover. There's another small 12 volt battery under the rear seat and even though its inside, still has a contact cover. Ford for the win.

Because they don't work well. Corrosion and Electrolysis are major issues.
