The Man. Drove 8 hours round trip to finally meet him last year.

I think MLW had the right idea putting him under a mask. He looked too much like a kid that even Bobby Heenan said he wouldn’t make it in wrestling. But the talent was unbelievable.

Red AND the SAT. Those guys together invented all of this stuff. Code Red, Canadian destroyer, Spanish fly, tower of doom superplex, powerbomb onto knees, beach break. There are videos of these guys doing all that stuff back in like 1999.

His matches with Low Ki were just too awesome for words! Underrated isn’t even the word to use to describe him. An entire generation owes him for their style

I saw Amazing Red when he was very young wrestling for Jack Sabboth UCW - ICW promotion at the Queens Elks Lodge, he was so unique and different during the early 2000s, did moves that hadn’t been seen at that point.

I've always was a fan of Amazing Red great wrestler pure talent.

First saw him on TNA in 2002 and was instantly a fan. Seemed like Rey Mysterio 2.0. A legend in his own right! Massively underrated!

I was lucky enough to see a handful of his early matches as just Red whenever he and the Maximo brothers made the trip to work the Reading, PA indy my aunt wrestled for.

I credit Red for triggering all the "flippy shit" hater bros.

Massively influential on a whole generation of wrestlers, both younger and peers. Would love to see him do a guest spot or two in AEW to get his flowers from a (inter)national audience.

They didn’t mention that he created the Canadian Destroyer too.

If Blitzkrieg didn’t retire early, he’d be mentioned right up there with Red.
