Doesn’t mean we want a dedicated mode. Arc raiders uncertainty is the sauce. It’s what makes it unique. Now we get two bland modes

clearly missed the "51% of surveyed players have expressed interest in a DEDICATED PVE MODE" line in the blog post. this means they actually put dedicated pve mode as an option in a survey and 51% of players said yes to it you are just arguing in bad faith at this point

MuH SuRvEy! Yo I wasn’t surveyed. I’m sure all the “me need EZ moad” whiners flooded that survey. Let’s see a survey where every owner answers.

@OnlyJome Lmao are you trying to compare ratio when it’s not even thousands, and not even triple digits 😂 Nobody cares, and he doesn’t care you’re white knighting for him.

@sctm @OnlyJome PvP player mad his easy fake friendly kills are going away and needs skill to kill people now lmfao

@sctm @OnlyJome Friendly PvE player, actually. I just don’t want longer queue times playing the real game.

Yeah, that's a poor interpretation of the data by both you and the company. The 'Mixed Players' have interests more in line with the 'PvP players' than they do with the 'PvE' players. All 3 groups either like or have no issue with PvE. I've never heard a PvP player say that they wish all the arc were gone and it was just pure PvP... they just happen to enjoy the PvP part a lot more. - The PvE group doesn't want or like PvP at all. - Mixed group likes both roughly equally. - PvP group prefers PvP, but still is okay with the PvE being there. 61% of players like and want PvP being in the game: 27% Mixed + 34% PvP. 37% do not want PvP in the game or at least don't want to engage with it. Summary: 2/3 of the playerbase likes and wants PVP, whereas a very loud 1/3 do not. The company should simply cater to the 'Mixed' group that enjoys both modes as it will satisfy both the Mixed and PvP group. Some of the PvE group will leave, and the more tolerant ones will stay and just deal with the PvP. Note: The only reason why Embark is catering at all to the PvE group is because they're a highly whiny and energized minority that won't shut up, and Embark is reading that as a much stronger signal than it is, and capitulating to them.

Once PvE is full integrated as a mode for Arc Raiders, I might give the game a try. I've always been interested in trying it but didn't want to interact with the PvP side of things.

I don’t get the crying from the PvP player base!? A player who enjoys PvE isn’t going to contribute to PvP. In fact, this narrative of “well it’s not the game for you” will just leave the game dead in the long run. The numbers speak for themselves. Just like with Tarkov, there’s a PvE group that exists & I really don’t get the concerns, Embark isn’t taking away PvP, you can still PvP till your hearts content if you choose. Sounds to me like the PvP group is more mad that they will have less opportunity to rat unsuspecting Raiders who come into a raid not to fight and catch them off guard. If anything, PvP players should be happy, because now any player encounter in PvP should be players willing and wanting the same fights as you claim you want in PvP.

The toxic rats just want to grief. They grief on Twitter too. And they are all obviously underdeveloped antisocial criminal types. It’s amazing.

I can't wait to try the PvE. It's gonna be sick

PvE just makes me sleepy 🤷🏾♂️

Always find it funny how PvP players post clips of themselves wasting a squad of players and saying some shit like "I miss when this game was good", without realising they are what ruined the fun for everyone else by trying to turn it into another voiceless battle royale.

SAID BY THE DEVS THEMSELVES! PVE IS BOTH LARGER AND GROWING THEN PVP so all you pvp basterds saying it will kill the game and that yall built the playerbase can go shove it, written clear as day there!

Rats in the game are rats in real life. This is why these vocal anti-PvE people are so adamant against people having PvE, as ARC was originally intended to be. They're rats. They just want to ruin it for others. Frankly, I'm glad they are going into convulsions over this.

But here’s my problem as someone who largely plays friendly pve in the game; the risk of a rat is part of the game. If you remove that, it removes quite a bit of the fun. You can play PVE all day long if you just don’t shoot anyone for 5-10 matches in a row. This toggle is unnecessary

PVE players are simple. We don't need to much to enjoy a game hence why we want PVE. PVP players telling PVE players that we're gonna get bored or be done within 2 days just shows how little based their opinions are. Their trying to decide what might be fun for us PVE players.

This is an argument as old as time. What people don’t understand is that the desire for less conflict is because players want more loot and to become more wealthy in the game. This is because they have experienced the feeling of loss. We saw this with SoT, Division, Tarkov etc. The list goes on. When you remove that element of loss which is exactly what will happen if you make a dedicated PvE mode, then the desire for that loot and money goes away. The value of the items earned goes down amongst the community. This is just a last ditch effort to revive the game because it’s dying and dying fast. PvE players love to gravitate to these lawless extraction shooters where the whole point is to be on the edge of your seat the whole time because there is always the possibility of dying and losing your stuff. They just don’t understand that the addiction of the game came from that attachment to loot and money BECAUSE of the risk of losing it. Even if you don’t pvp. I don’t even play Arc raiders, but the extraction shooter genre isn’t for everyone and the more they try to appease everyone the further the game gets away from what actually made it special in the first place.

I’ve wanted this since the very beginning! Even if it’s just to farm mats for workshops and meds.. I’ve wanted this!

Beautiful. Im on hiatus since january. Ill be back

They also forgot to say that less than 50% of the playerbase have gotten the 10 knocks or more achievement, meaning that "mixed" percentage is just people defending themselves.

Oh for real? I quit the game a while back because no matter what I did I kept running into PvPers. I would actually come back if there was a PvE only side. I enjoy games like that.

Because of fags

So excited for this 💕

I activated PVE mode long ago...

I think a extraction shooter that has a PvE mode simply means they don’t have to rely on player vs player interaction and can be carried on the same level with the ai and mechanics of the game. I feel like if the game itself was bad people wouldn’t even want to play PvE.

There’s about a 100 delusional PvP cry babies in here. 1.) the game was originally marketed as a pve game let those players have what they originally wanted it doesn’t affect you at all 2.) a lot of people myself included want to fight the arcs and explore unbothered.

the only reason cooperation is special is because it’s optional.

its not hard to grasp a chill pve game with friends will always hold more players than pvp also I fully believe you would see people bring more kits into pvp if they have a fat stash from pve built up cause rn its 99% free kits and pointless to play.

Yea I love getting shot in the back while trying to collect metal and rubber. It’s even more fun getting shot after someone convinces me with their voice that they’re chill, only to shoot me to death after we have a laugh together. It’s really fun dying and losing stuff

As a full PvE player i would like a PvP toggle also so I can play psycho then come back Friendly

I feel like the match making system now is good.

Because this game aint warzone buddy

They don't know that without danger there is no reason to play. Arc raiders is cooked

Data analysis...it's a real thing.

So they spit in the face of the mixed players

In enjoy both. I just don’t like being ratted in friendly lobbies. There should be more protection from raider on raider. It should take more than 2 shots in the back to down a raider.

When you lose 80-85% of your player base since launch, it’s hard to believe these percentages are accurate at all. I also think that if arc raiders stays aggressive based match making pve mode might just be irrelevant with better loot in regular anyways

Because the Trials is easier in friendly lobbies they set the game up to fail with different lobbies, everyone bought a pve-pvp game it was so much fun but they ruined a very very good game.
