Because they've realised how hollow it is to be a billionaire. Nobody needs even a 100th of that amount of wealth.

Why are you trying to make the issue about a few individuals rather than the entire system we live under? It’s not the personality of a few “bad apples”, or if we had kinder billionaires (look closely at Gates👀) it’s the entire system of late stage capitalism
