NEW: Supreme Court unanimously sides with the 2nd Amendment The Supreme Court rules 9-0 saying you can’t disqualify someone from owning a gun because they’re a drug user “It was whether or not you could go after someone who you discovered was a habitual drug user, in this case marijuana, and that disqualified them from owning or possessing a gun” “The court has got a unanimous opinion — nobody's dissenting here, saying that the prosecution of this individual or going after this individual based on his drug usage and gun ownership violates the Second Amendment” Keep in mind this doesn’t mean you can possess the gun while intoxicated on the drug, this just means you can’t be targeted for owning it

New Jersey gun owners just won! In a 10-5 decision, the Third Circuit Court of Appeals struck down New Jersey's ban on commonly owned semiautomatic rifles and magazines over 10 rounds. The court was clear — these firearms are protected by the Second Amendment. This victory belongs to the ANJRPC, Firearms Policy Coalition, NRA, the plaintiffs, and every attorney who refused to back down. For our friends in New Jersey, this is a major win, but the case has been remanded, and the state is still reviewing its options. We're waiting on legal guidance before updating our policies. When you basically start taxing people for success, it's un-American, and they as the Constitution provides competition of states, they move to places like Miami. This narrative doesn't really make sense for Californians. Let's say I have a company, and revenues are going down, and my expenses are going up. I'd go to the CEO and say, "Why is my business falling apart like this? Why is it that everything's upside down? My revenues are going down". In this case, all my expenses are going up 'cause you can't manage the place. You're a terrible manager. Why don't I just fire you and hire somebody else?
