What is the point you're attempting to make? If you look up Nazi's or Jews or World War II, in older encyclopedia's they will talk about persecution and mass killings there. The Holodomor is not listed by name in most older encyclopedias. Does that mean it didn't happen?

First off, the term "holocaust" was used at the time to describe the overall devastation of the war. Second, the term "Shoah" was used specifically to describe the genocide until the term Holocaust (capital H) became the popularized term for the genocide of WWII. Is your suggestion that because the formal term was not popularized until the 70's that the event itself did not occur? That's some interesting logic right there. By that rationale, the Armenian genocide did not occur either? May I ask why this thought only occurred to you now, and what you think it proves?

Believe or not the Ed Sullivan show introduced the concept of the Holocaust to the American public around the mid 1960’s. I think Jews wanted to forget about it (or didn’t know how to process it) until that guy Eli Weisel (sp?) dramatized his book ‘Night’ on the show and basically introduced the ‘man’s inhumanity against his fellow man’ argument into society - which carried the day with Jews until Netanyahu blew it out of the water. You’ll find ‘the holocaust’ in old encyclopedias under the number of Jews killed in WW2 (with the rest of the body counts). Jews would later - years after the war - separate these body counts from all the other body counts and make up (basically) a non biblical story to go with it (see Deuteronomy 28 and Matthew 7:12 as the biblical counter to their made up story).
