His name was Jamal Wali. He was a intrepeter for the military. Allegedly lost his brother bc of it. Brought over to the US. Struggled to maintain a job, maybe bc of PTSD, and fell into poverty. He definitely deserved to be in this country. Our system failed him like it has to many of our veterans.
