Why are they breaking the law and testing the system? Because they know the American people would reject this. And they can’t do it using a regular order process. This is why we must fight back and continue to hold them accountable.

🚨The Babbling Liberal Report🚨 Melanie, it's frankly astounding that someone who swore to defend the Constitution seems so blissfully unaware of its contents and principles. Let's dissect the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) through the lens of the Constitution, which you evidently need a refresher on. Under Article II, Section 3, the President can propose measures for the betterment of governance, a power not unfamiliar to those who've actually read the document. Historical figures like Truman didn't just pull executive reorganization out of thin air; they were guided by this very authority. But clearly, such historical context is beyond your grasp. Moving on to Congress's so-called constitutional high ground, which you've seemingly misunderstood. Article I, Section 9, Clause 7, dictates that no money comes out of the Treasury without Congress's say-so. Yet, this same body has turned fiscal responsibility into a mockery, throwing money at pet projects that serve their political cronies rather than the public good. It's ironic, isn't it, Melanie? You defend an institution that has arguably strayed from the very "general Welfare" clause you're supposed to uphold. The principle of checks and balances, which you selectively apply, allows for judicial review to keep all branches in check. Marbury v. Madison established this, but you seem to overlook how Congress's lavish spending sprees go unchecked by the courts. Perhaps an audit of judicial influence would open your eyes to the biases you ignore. Madison, in Federalist No. 51, warned against legislative tyranny, a concept clearly lost on you. McCulloch v. Maryland (1819) further delineated the limits of Congressional power, something you'd know if you hadn't skipped over your constitutional studies. The Congressional Budget and Impoundment Control Act of 1974 was meant to curb Congress's spending binges, but apparently, you missed that class too. Nixon's impoundment efforts were a direct response to Congress's fiscal irresponsibility, showing a tension you're either willfully ignoring or simply don't comprehend. Melanie, before you go throwing around accusations of unconstitutionality, perhaps you should reflect on whether Congress's actions align with the document you swore to defend. DOGE aims to realign government with the efficiency our founders envisioned, something you'd appreciate if you had even a basic understanding of constitutional intent. I advise that you apologize to @JDVance and @realDonaldTrump for your misinformed accusations. You owe the American people an apology for your breathtaking ignorance of the Constitution you've pledged to protect. It's time for you to go back to school, Melanie, or at least read the document you're supposed to be defending.

Nope. All you’re doing is obstructing what the American people voted for. Rather than doing so, you could instead help the administration get rid of the waste, fraud and abuse in our system of government.
