The weirdest thing to me about doubling down is if we take them at their word and it isn’t AI, they’re admitting to it being poorly animated and incompetently made. It’s like they’re saying “It’s not AI, we just suck.”

It's funny, and I had to delete the tweet because I had faith for a moment. I used to work in sports apparel printing and they would bounce art back if they suspected it was AI. So why on earth would this fly if it's also the face of their brand???

Likely scenario is they paid someone to do it and the animator lied to them. Jays admin is pretty hip, they definitely know the public’s opinion on AI

I learned a new word in animation and I still don't know what it means, but they're saying ai was used for 'tweening' and that's apparently used for tying images together or something?-- still not sure entirely. They didn't even put a #ad on it for Nestea lol.

Personally, if I were--hypothetically--a human or an animator, I would want to be credited for my contributions to such a fine and obviously legit piece of art.

Thanks for covering this, I’m stunned they haven’t received more backlash for this bullshit. So disingenuous to try and make the argument that it was “made by a human” because they entered a prompt.

The only defense they have at this point is to say they trusted an animator that used AI for some of the 'background elements' of the animation.
