Because they have NEVER been taught neither the value of things nor any kind of respect.

This is a secular school, with secular teachers, who went to secular universities, who teach them that 1) nothing they do is their fault. 2) the American system is against them, 3) knowing their sexual orientation is more important than knowing math and science. Etc, etc, etc.
