True, America and the West have interests here, but the interests of this region's people, the rightful owners, take precedence over all others. If our interests are threatened, why should America's and Western nations' interests remain safe? I want to assure world public opinion and all free thinkers that our decision regarding the Strait of Hormuz, when our country's interests in the Persian Gulf face any threat, will be swift and decisive.
