I will say this, cause I can. I worked with hats in my first command. Edson Range. Weapons, Field Training BN. Second Phase. When I was a very young corpsman. Once you are done making Marines and leave the drill field, leave the hat at MCRD. Don’t bring the raspy voice and treat Marines like recruits. I’ve seen this. Last time in Iraq. SSGT freshly off the grinder. Marines are Marines.

I agree with leave the hat at MCRD however, everything else brings to the fleet, what I mean is ruthless adherence to standards remains, if that makes sense

One of my older sister's is a Marine. And in a twist of fate, one of my DIs KNEW MY SISTER! Needless to say, my bootcamp experience was 100% more shitty for me than the rest of the platoon. Still made it through though LOL

I read an article recently about why the Marine Corps should no longer exist. I will honestly say that, as an Army Vet, I cannot imagine America without the Marine Corps. Y'all have always been an intergal part of our nation's history and y'all do specialize in amphibious warfare

Hey, Marines are truly no better friend, no worse enemy, especially on the battlefield. I have a lot of buddies who are Marines. The banter between the Army and the Marines Corps will always be crazy, but the camaraderie between us is second to none. Much respect always! 😁🤙🫡🇺🇸
