A national scandal while all the rhetoric is about reducing waiting time, moving care to community and prevention all of which need more physios to achieve not less

We just advertised for a Band 5 post and interviewed 11 candidates. I've never seen the quality so high. Wish we had more than one job to offer but budgetary constraints didn't allow. We need to be more creative in the NHS. Investing now to reap the reward later

I love this, the narrative needs to be outcome focused in the NHS rather than waiting list focused.

That’s a good message for many patients. Unfortunately many serious conditions such as stroke worsen considerably. Some patients never move again without physiotherapy and die on the waiting list. Perhaps, the next message is “Physios waiting to save lives”.
