Low-income Americans who voted for Trump say they are counting on him to keep their benefits intact even while his Cabinet picks and Republican lawmakers call on him to reduce federal spending.

LOL sorry Don: according to Doug Ford's buddies - oops, I mean "anonymous sources" - you're losing if you're not talking about Trump 24/7.

🚨 I TOLD YOU SO 🚨 I’ve been on the streets of Gorton & Denton hearing it directly from residents — they’re voting Conservative. They’re voting Charlotte. Now even The Independent goes out and hears the same thing: people backing the Conservative Party. Momentum is real. The message is landing. Gorton & Denton is ready. 🇬🇧

AOC: Voters in general are looking for a change, and they’re seeing that progress is not happening in ways that meet the challenges that they are facing. And so you are going to see people voting for new leadership.

Young voters are the future of American democracy. That’s why I’m so grateful for the leadership of Anjali and Yenjay, co-founders of Vote16NJ. They are pushing to lower the voting age to 16 in local elections – and inspiring our young neighbors to become lifelong voters.

The UK government plan to lower the voting age to 16… But at the same time, they’re censoring what under-18s can see online — including political content, medical opinions, and anything they call “harmful.” And in schools? They’re rolling out a state-approved political curriculum to “prepare” kids to vote. This isn’t about safety. It’s about control. They’re not empowering the next generation, they’re programming them. They don’t want informed voters, they want compliant ones. If they’re old enough to vote, they’re old enough to hear and discern the truth for themselves. #FreeSpeech #OnlineSafetyAct #YouthVote #Indoctrination #UKPolitics #ProtectTheChildrenNotControlThem

Today is the day. Since the start of this campaign, one message has been clear: Canadians want change. ✅ You want your hard-earned dollars to go further. ✅ You want safer streets and parks for your kids and grandkids. ✅ You want a self-reliant economy. ✅ You want seniors protected and respected. We’ve pledged to deliver — but we need you to make it happen. Vote Conservative. Vote to put Canada First -- For A Change. Let’s Bring It Home. 🇨🇦 #Ajax

MacFarlane: What are we supposed to make of the gutting of the Voting Rights Act? Kamlager-Dove: It’s incredibly shameful that this corrupted court, led by Justice Roberts—who has had this bee in his bonnet about unraveling the Voting Rights Act for decades—it is shameful that this has happened. If you’re a democratic country, why would you want to disenfranchise millions of voters? Maybe just because they’re Democrats, maybe because they’re Black. It makes no sense to me. And the silence and complicitness coming from Republicans—because obviously they’re okay with cheating. They’re not interested in winning on their own. They’re not interested in winning based on their policies and their platforms. They are interested in stealing votes.

🇨🇦One B.C. seems to be a party on the right track for Canada. Make immigrants pay for healthcare. Protect kids. Lower taxes. Wants to repeal Truth and Reconciliation Day. No wonder the Conservatives are scared of them as they are actually conservative?😉 #taraarmstrong #onebc
