This is the logic of family court. They really don’t care what happened to the father. He’s just an ATM. The support doesn’t change if his circumstances change. If he loses his job it will take him a couple of months to get his child support modified to reflect his changed circumstances. Never get married.

Judge just threatened that the child support will go up simply because he was rebutting, that should be enough for a family court lawyer to do something about that judge weaponizing support amount as punishment as opposed to doing it by established law
