Why BARRY WINDHAM rules!

I'm 46 so I got to watch all of Barry's career. Here in 88 as the US Champ, it was my favorite version of him & one of the more complete competitors ever Adding the Claw to the Lariat & Superplex was perfect I've re-watched 86-89 for the past 2 years over & over. Barry rules

I grew up in the Florida territory and if it wasn't for getting to see Barry Windham every week I'd have lost my fandom before it even started. "Kevin Sullivan looks like a dork, I bet he doesn't even listen to heavy metal."

Do we know how he's doing since his health scare?

His superplex was exquisite.

If he hit the gym instead of the bottle his career would have been elite. Still occasionally would have a banger IE 2 Cold Scorpio but they became few and far between as he got older.

I just looked through some pics and I found the Yellow Dog. Never heard of this run.

The night he joined the Horsemen was one of the greatest heel turns over. But it was the backstage confrontation with Dusty in the heels' dressing room that was the ultimate dagger. Absolutely riveting TV.
