Just wanted to make sure I’m following the Bitcast (ad agency) model correctly. From what I understand, a small business/brand might put up $1,000 for a month-long campaign on YouTube or X, and Bitcast then passes that value along to creators, such as yourself in TAO/Alpha, after they talk about the product. Now that they have had success with this and are scaling up with new outside ad agency partners, I’m sure they hope budgets will someday grow large—like, say, $100,000 from new advertisers like a Toyota—I am curious about the mechanics. Why not just pay out the content creators directly in USD and skip the Alpha token altogether? Is this a “trust me bro; I’ll always pay in TAO/Alpha? Why must they pay the minors/creators, many of whom have never heard of TAO, let alone Alpha in Alpha? Not trying to be a jerk here! I did hold Bitcast Alpha until they announced the new expansion. Just doing my due diligence as an investor and would love to get your thoughts.

It's a good question for the subnet owner: @will_mizu . Payment in USD is much more painful/permissioned than bittensor (subnet owner is out of UK afaik too lol). I guess they COULD move to USD at some point in the future, though there's many considerations there. Miners are from around the world, and they don't have to connect a bank account for anything, just a bittensor wallet. Also, for bitcast, alpha token ~= equity (correct me if I'm wrong here @will_mizu ), so there's that aspect too.

@Lazz_eth @Bitcast_network I’m curious what your dtao portfolio looks like. I’ve done nothing but buy and hold Alpha because I don’t trust my dtao trading skills. I guess my hope is that something at least in the top 30 pops and the accumulated alpha is a huge benefit of me continuing to hold
