❗️❗️❗️🇷🇺In a devastating blow to the infrastructure of occupied Crimea, a massive Ukrainian drone strike has knocked out the power grid, leaving the strategic port city of Kerch in a total blackout. Kremlin-installed local authorities confirmed that the city is completely without electricity following targeted UAV strikes on energy facilities. While emergency crews are attempting to keep critical services running on backup generators, state energy provider Krymenergo reported that the attacks have disrupted power distribution across the peninsula's northwestern and eastern districts. Due to the severity of the damage, the utility provider admitted it is currently impossible to predict when power supply will be restored. The widespread power grid failure has triggered an immediate domino effect on municipal utilities. Because the blackout disabled main pumping stations operated by the occupation enterprise Voda Kryma, water pressure has plummeted in nine districts of the peninsula. Water supply has been either completely shut off or severely restricted in several key areas, including Bakhchysarai, Kerch, Krasnoperekopsk, Armyansk, Saky, Feodosia, and numerous surrounding villages. This operation represents a continuation of Ukraine's systematic drone campaign targeting Russia's energy and military logistics nodes, leaving major occupation hubs on the peninsula crippled and without basic utilities.

Brits and Europeans visiting America for the World Cup have discovered air conditioning and are asking why we don't have it this side of the Atlantic. Unfortunately, our stringent net zero policies mean air conditioning is illegal in a lot of places. One place air conditioning is allowed is in the offices of top European Union bureaucrats who decide the rules, banning it for other people - even their underlings on the floors below them. Compare this to China, where even pigs can have air conditioning. It's almost as if the oppressive communist regime with corrupt, self-serving leaders is Europe. The thing is, air conditioning could support net zero. Air conditioners run when it's very hot, and it's very hot when the sun is shining, and when the sun is shining, all the solar panels Ed Miliband forced us to install make lots of power. Too much power, in fact. There's an increasingly common phenomenon where the grid gets overloaded by electricity produced by renewables, and then electricity has to be given a negative price (paying people to use it) to encourage people to use it to syphon off this extra power so it doesn't damage the grid. Meanwhile, the usual uninformed lefty windbags appear on the BBC to spout off nonsense about evil Britain using lots of air-conditioning while countries such as India and Nigeria don't use it at all. This is nonsense. 20% of Nigerians and 10% of Indians have air conditioning in their homes, compared to only 3-4% in Britain. It's almost as if Net Zero isn't about efficient energy use at all, but it's just about making us suffer.

The biggest power grab since Standard Oil is happening today and almost nobody is paying attention. Tech companies are building their own power grid. They're about to produce more electricity than entire COUNTRIES. Right now at the White House, CEOs from Amazon, Google, Meta, Microsoft, OpenAI, Oracle, and xAI are signing a pledge that most people will scroll past. But it might be the most important business deal of the decade. They're committing to build, bring, or buy 100% of their own electricity for every new AI data center. Their own power plants. Their own transmission lines. Their own energy infrastructure. These are SOFTWARE companies agreeing to become power utilities. Here's why this matters for everyone reading this: By the end of this year, at least 5 US data centers will each consume over 1 gigawatt of continuous power. 1 gigawatt powers 850,000 homes. 5 of these facilities will use more electricity than some entire countries. The US grid physically cannot handle it. Capacity prices in the PJM grid, which covers 13 states, exploded from $28.92 per megawatt-day to $329.17 in just two years. That's literally a 1,000% increase. So what do you do when the grid can't support you? You stop using the grid. Amazon is buying nuclear reactors. Microsoft restarted Three Mile Island. Meta signed 20-year nuclear deals. Chevron is building a 2.5 gigawatt natural gas plant in West Texas specifically to power data centers. These companies aren't supplementing the grid. They're replacing it. For themselves. Think about what's actually happening here: 7 companies now control more computing power than most governments. And today they're signing paperwork to control their own energy supply too. Computing. Data. Energy. Infrastructure. That's not a "tech" company anymore. A Harvard energy law professor already called the pledge "meaningless" because utilities in PJM are spending tens of billions on power projects for data centers and those costs are STILL being spread across ratepayers anyway. The pledge has zero legal teeth. No enforcement mechanism. No compliance monitoring. No penalty for breaking it. It's a political move designed to get tech companies through the midterms without becoming the villain of every campaign ad about electricity bills. But the underlying shift is real and irreversible: Tech companies are becoming energy companies. Energy companies are becoming AI infrastructure. And the line between Big Tech and Big Energy is about to disappear completely. The big question here: When seven companies control both the world's intelligence AND the power that runs it, who exactly is governing who?

This video showcases Iran's largest power plant, capable of producing around 2,880 megawatts of electricity, which serves as a vital component of Iran's energy infrastructure. This plant supplies power not just for industrial operations but also for the everyday residential needs of millions of Iranians. It stands as a symbol of Iran's energy independence, and its destruction would deal a massive blow to the country's ability to function normally. If Iran chooses to escalate tensions by launching a ballistic missile attack on Israel today, they must be fully prepared for the inevitable and unprecedented retaliation from Israel. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) will not hesitate to strike at the heart of Iran's power grid, targeting this very power plant along with many others, plunging the nation into darkness and chaos. Such a decisive strike would serve to humiliate the Ayatollahs and force their hand, potentially opening the floodgates for a wider conflict in which Israel will target not just energy infrastructure but also Iran’s critical refineries and nuclear facilities. The IDF's response will be relentless and uncompromising. Israel has one of the most advanced air forces in the world, equipped with precision-guided missiles and the latest technology, making these power plants, refineries, and even Iran’s nuclear sites easy targets for destruction. Any strike on Israel by Iran will be met with overwhelming force, as Israel exercises its right to self-defense and ensures that the Ayatollahs and their regime understand the consequences of their aggression. This isn't merely a matter of retaliatory strikes; it's about sending a clear and unambiguous message that Iran's support for terrorist organizations like Hezbollah and Hamas, and any direct attack on Israel, will be met with devastating consequences. If Iran decides to open this Pandora's box, the Ayatollahs must understand that Israel will have no hesitation in cutting off Iran's power supply, not just metaphorically but quite literally, by dismantling the very infrastructure that keeps the country running. The repercussions of such a strike would be catastrophic for Iran. Entire cities could be plunged into darkness, industries would grind to a halt, and the economy could face irreversible damage. This action would not only cripple Iran’s capacity to wage war but would also serve as a lesson that any aggression toward Israel will be answered with overwhelming and unyielding force. Israel possesses the military capability and strategic acumen to execute such a campaign effectively. And should Iran choose the path of confrontation, Israel’s response will not be a mere show of force – it will be a decisive act that might send Iran’s energy infrastructure back to the stone age. This isn’t just a matter of military might; it’s about demonstrating that any act of aggression against Israel will be met with a level of retaliation that could leave Iran in darkness, potentially forever. Therefore, Iran should carefully consider its next moves. A strike against Israel would not only be an act of war but also an invitation for its own devastation. The Ayatollahs must understand that their dreams of expanding their influence across the Middle East through aggression will meet a dead end when faced with the full might of Israel's military response.

❄️Winter is Coming 2025❄️ - Energize the Frontline⚡️ Donate here (tax-deductible in 🇺🇸): ⚡️A Great Generator Deal⚡️ Against all odds, the defenders of Ukraine keep holding the line to the best of their abilities. Unit and command posts must be run, drone batteries recharged, surveillance equipment operated, and, in a sense, the war is considerably electric. This is why we decided to dedicate a fundraiser to the supply of frontline units with diesel and petrol generators. We just bought over 30 more generators, and we plan to buy over 100 (!) more. As we buy in bulk and VAT-free, we were able to negotiate a very good deal: - 3000W Inverter Generators (for sensitive electronics): 190$ / piece - 5000W Diesel Generators: 750$ / piece 🔌Current Energy Situation🔌 In October 2022, Russia began with its aerial assaults on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure - electrical and thermal power plants, electrical substations, gas distribution hubs - to deprive civilians and the military of energy during the cold winter months. Russia’s perfidious strategy, a war crime beyond any doubt, aims to break morale and weaken resilience, but also incapacitate as much of Ukraine’s economy, its industry and rail services as possible. Russia’s ultimate goal remains to force Ukraine to surrender. With allied equipment support, grid synchronisation and decentralisation efforts, fatal crises were avoided three winters in a row, without nationwide blackouts, without load-shedding, also helped by a milder than expected climate. UAO responded swiftly each winter season, supplying front line units with diesel and petrol generators, as well as power stations and power banks, purchased from your generous donations. In recent weeks, however, Russia has substantially ramped up its strikes on the energy infrastructure across the whole of Ukraine, helped by increased production of strike drones and ballistic and cruise missiles, after its summer offensive failed to gain traction. Ukraine’s largest electrical and thermal power plant operator DTEK reported three assaults so far in October alone, while Naftogaz claims that already 60% of the nation’s gas production and distribution capacity is destroyed, and Ukrzaliznytsia saw nearly 300 attacks on railway infrastructure, causing many delays and cancellations. With your help, we can secure energy supply on the frontline💪

As part of Operation Sindoor, the Army was given 7 targets near the borders, and the Air Force was given 2, which were deep inside. The Army delivered fully. The Air Force achieved what they were assigned but lost nearly five fighter jets, including Rafale, according to Captain Shiv Kumar, our Defence Attaché to Indonesia. A Defence Attaché, is a high-ranking member of a country's armed forces who is assigned to an embassy or diplomatic mission in another country. Their role is to represent their country’s defence establishment abroad and manage military and defence relations with the host nation. *Why and how did we lose our jets?* When we started the operation, our political leadership tied the Air Force’s hands, saying they should not target Pakistani military assets, including their jets, as we were not crossing the airspace. This was in line with Dr. S. Jaishankar's call to Pakistan at the start of the operation, telling our enemy about our objectives promising not to attack their military targets. But the Pakistani Air Force had a free hand and targeted our military assets, including our fighter jets. Our pilots couldn’t retaliate as they were ordered not to do so by Modi, Ajit Doval, Rajnath Singh, and S. Jaishankar, who are clueless about military operations and strategy. This led to the loss of our jets. This is the strategic blunder the CDS referred to in his interview to Bloomberg. Within two days, our Air Force earned a free hand and they achieved the objectives, successfully destroying the targets, including Pakistani military establishments, as seen in satellite imagery. These self-proclaimed 56-inch buffoons are good at spreading hate, fakery, and buffoonery. They have no clue about statecraft or war strategy. Turns out, it's easier to run WhatsApp forwards than actual military operations.

Renewable energy had nothing to do with Spain’s catastrophic blackouts, its Prime Minister says, insisting instead that the real culprit was a rare technical failure unrelated to the country’s green energy transition. Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez went further and reiterated his government’s opposition to nuclear energy, which he called “far from being a solution.” But, as I pointed out on Monday, the underlying cause of the blackout was the lack of “inertia,” the physical buffer provided by traditional power plants that use heavy spinning machinery to stabilize the grid during sudden fluctuations. Our electrical systems are based on power plants that rotate massive metal shafts at thousands of revolutions per minute, creating electricity while also providing momentum. That rotational mass acts like a shock absorber, automatically resisting sharp swings in supply and demand. When a fault or sudden drop hits the system, that inertia buys precious seconds for control systems to respond and for operators to isolate the problem. In contrast, solar panels and most modern wind turbines rely on inverters, which lack physical mass and can’t cushion these shocks. It’s true that the electrical grid managers have not identified a specific cause that triggered the blackout, and both Spain’s Red Eléctrica and Portugal’s REN have cautioned that a full root-cause analysis may take weeks. Preliminary reports describe a “very strong oscillation” in the network and suggest the event began with an unexpected disturbance, possibly linked to a sudden drop in generation or an equipment fault. But that doesn’t change the fact that the Spanish grid lacks inertia, and that if it had had more inertia in the system the blackout could have been avoided or at least contained. Inertia is not a theoretical nicety, it’s a physical property provided by heavy, spinning generators like those in gas, coal, and nuclear plants, which naturally resist sudden changes in frequency. On the day of the blackout, nearly 80 percent of Spain’s electricity came from inverter-based solar and wind sources, which provide no such stabilizing force. With so few conventional plants online, the grid had virtually no buffer to absorb even a minor shock. When the disturbance hit, the frequency plunged and the system unraveled within seconds. Unlike older grids built around rotating mass, Spain’s modern, ultra-light grid simply had no way to withstand the sudden imbalance. And Spain’s electrical grid operator admitted on a conference call yesterday that it was a “massive” loss of renewable energy generation that triggered the blackout and said that it was “very likely” the initial disturbance came from solar... Geopolitical Chessboard Flipped as Russia Thwarts Alleged Israeli Strike on Iran A failed high-stakes Israeli aerial operation against Iran has triggered a seismic shift in the Middle East's balance of power, according to a recent analysis. The incident suggests that Russian military intervention has established a new strategic reality, effectively neutralizing Israel's long-held air supremacy and placing the region on high alert. In what is being described as a monumental event, Israeli strike formations reportedly moved toward Iranian airspace but were intercepted and completely neutralized before they could execute their mission. The failure was not attributed to pilot error or technical malfunction, but to a sophisticated, integrated air-defense network. Putin's "Invisible Line" The analysis claims that the decisive factor was the deployment of Russia's advanced S-400 anti-air defense system, which was secretly integrated with an Iranian radar web. This move is interpreted as Russian President Vladimir Putin drawing a hard "invisible line in the sky," placing Iranian airspace under the direct protection of the Russian Federation. This Russian-backed defense grid allegedly blinded and dismantled state-of-the-art Israeli stealth aircraft mid-air, a development that caught Western intelligence completely by surprise. This event is not being seen as a random glitch but as a meticulously planned "strategic trap." It represents a real-world application of the military concept of "anti-access/area denial" (A2/AD), where a superior technological force is prevented from entering a specific operational area. Israel's Air Supremacy Broken For decades, Israel's military doctrine has relied on its absolute and unchallenged air supremacy as its ultimate deterrent. The successful neutralization of its most advanced fighter jets shatters this cornerstone of its national security. What was once Israel's greatest military strength has now become its most glaring vulnerability. The incident sends an irreversible message to both Washington and Tel Aviv: the old playbook is obsolete. With its ability to project air power now in question, Israel's strategic options have been severely curtailed. The coming days are deemed absolutely critical. Global observers are now closely watching for Washington's reaction and the response from global markets as the world grapples with a geopolitical chessboard that has been irrevocably flipped.

Good morning, Nigerians, Today, we just want to take some time to remind President Tinubu that he promised Nigerians uninterrupted electricity within four years. Yes, that’s right, Mr. President promised us 24/7 power. All by himself. Yet today, the facts speak louder than Mr. President’s penchant for broken promises: 1. Since Tinubu took office, electricity tariffs have jumped by 240%, but the grid has collapsed 12 times, plunging millions of homes and businesses into repeated darkness. 2. Over 90 million Nigerians still lack electricity, while many get just 4 to 6 hours a day under Tinubu’s failed Band A–E system. 3. In rural communities, most of Nigeria’s 50 million families remain completely off the grid, with no access to electricity at all. Yet, Mr. President still has not moved the needle. In 26 months, there has been no major power sector reforms, no clear roadmap, and no sense of urgency. We are past the halfway mark of this administration, and millions of Nigerians are still charging their phones at mobile charging kiosks, and spending hundreds of thousands to fuel their generators. So, Mr. President, on this fine Sunday morning, we ask: - Where is the light? - What happened to your promise? - And how much longer do Nigerians have to wait in the dark? Mr. President, you once said: “If I don’t give you electricity, don’t vote for me.” Well, Nigerians are listening. And come 2027, we intend to grant your wish.
