Why Borno flooding is a “Nigerian” problem

Most of these dams were built by military regime, so I always ask myself what have we achieved in this democratic dispensation.

The same dam that is causing lost of lives and properties in Nigeria is what China is using to raise their economy. It's all about management

But to President Tinubu, the solution to Maiduguri flood is to give them trucks of rice.

This Borno flooding is a direct result of the govt's sheer incompetence & lack of foresight. It's not a natural disaster, it's a failure of leadership. How many more lives must be destroyed before they wake up and take responsibility for their gross negligence?

Where there's no accountability and punishment for doing the wrong thing, things like this will be a daily occurance

I have said it earlier, had it been we are a serious country head will begin to roll, this disaster was not God made it was caused as a result of negligence by the people in charge of these dams
