Why cable burn without tripping the breaker?

Cable can cook at a current the breaker finds perfectly fine. Ampacity and trip curves are different jobs.

sin ser electricista me arriesgaría a decir que el cable no es el adecuado para el Amperaje del magnetotermico. todo debe de ir en concordancia, no puedes poner un magnetotermico de 40A con un cable de 1.5 donde conectas un horno. y luego las conexiones deben de estar bien.
