So this guy, a so-called Nephrologist, is under investigation for allegedly conducting an organ harvesting? Wellington Hospital? The guy said he is only a consultant with "many hospitals" in Abuja, but he doesn't have any principal hospital he works with? Doctors on the TL, is that normal? This is why any so called consultant I need to see in this Nigeria, I need to do a thorough background search about them. I saw someone at Lagoon Iwosan Hospital in Lagos. Despite being a hospital with very high reputation & excellent record of professionalism, I had to dig deep into the man's history of practice & even shared his profile to other professionals in other places to ask about him. Be careful out there.

Uncle got offended when I asked for proof 👀 But finally, mystery solved behind the false claim that the Punjab government donated Rs 500 million (50 crore) Shaukat Khanum Hospital. It was fuelled by a cleverly altered video circulating in PMLN groups. This narrative misled figures from a Punjab Assembly member to a journalist and others online. When I asked questions or proof, a video was presented; it was IK's video that was used to make a claim that in reality, he never did. This is the perils of misinformation in this digital age, which highlights the importance of verifying everything against the primary source. The edit is perhaps not easy to detect. When I watched the original video available on IK's Facebook page, the manipulation was confirmed. The original footage is from Khan’s speech at the opening of the second Shaukat Khanum Hospital in Peshawar. Khan described how, in 1989, Nawaz Sharif’s Punjab government set aside 50 crore for a cancer hospital to be built by the gov but deemed it unviable and abandoned the effort. Khan cited this to highlight how he was told his dream was impossible to achieve and how he overcame these challenges to build this hospital. The manipulated video cut out bits of what he said and twisted his words to suggest a donation that never happened!

Delhi Health Minister Dr. Pankaj Singh (a dentist by qualification) made a surprise visit to Jafarpur Kalan Hospital in Najafgarh and got angry after finding a faulty pulse oximeter in the casualty ward. He shouted at the casualty incharge and doctors, asking if this was a joke, and blamed them for negligence as a patient’s condition had worsened. But isn’t it the government’s job to make sure hospitals have working equipment? If basic stuff like oximeters aren’t functioning, that’s not always the staff’s fault. Before scolding doctors in public, these politicians should fix the broken instruments in government hospitals. Why are doctors blamed for faulty instruments?

I’m deeply disturbed by the apathy shown by the N Chandrababu Naidu led government towards hundreds of Foreign Medical Graduates (FMGs) who are being denied their rightful permanent medical registration despite completing their mandatory internships under National Medical Commission guidelines. These are young, qualified doctors who returned to serve their state after pursuing medical education abroad. Worse, when these doctors peacefully protested on National Doctors’ Day demanding justice, the government responded with detentions, lathi charges, and intimidation. Is this how we treat our own medical professionals? Why is the Andhra Pradesh Medical Council still not issuing PRs despite NMC clarifications? Why are qualified doctors being left in limbo while the state battles a shortage of medical staff? This is not just negligence, it’s systemic suppression of aspiring healthcare workers who deserve dignity and a future. I demand the state govt to immediately release permanent registrations, stop this exploitation, and allow these doctors to begin their careers legally and proudly.

At KSB Olympia Dream Children’s Hospital, a doctor was brutally slapped 12 times in a row and abused by a patient’s relative. According to the reports his only fault was that he advised the critically ill child to be shifted to another hospital with ICU facilities since their hospital did not have one. Everyone needs to read Mitch McConnell’s statement from yesterday very carefully. It says he was discharged from hospital care, yet he’s still here at the hospital in rehabilitation. I don’t know why anyone would keep a high-profile figure like Senator Mitch McConnell at this hospital if he could be safely moved. There are paparazzi, independent journalists like me, Substack influencers, and hundreds of college students around here every day. If he were physically able to leave, why wouldn’t he be transferred to a more private and secure facility? If he were well enough to travel, I think he likely would have been at the Capitol today for Senator Lindsey Graham’s memorial events.

Today Pakistanis held their United Kashmir People's National Party (UKPNP) its fifth International Kashmir Conference at the UK British Parliament, bringing together political representatives, campaigners and members of the Kashmiri diaspora to discuss the latest situation across Kashmir and Pakistan. The conference was led by UKPNP founder Sardar Shaukat Ali Kashmiri and was also attended by three UK MP’s. Why aren’t these events being held at their embassy in London. Why in British government?

The IDF just announced that they conducted the largest operation of the war since October 7th, capturing 358 terrorists, including numerous senior leaders from Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad, which is another terrorist organization in Gaza. Where were they hiding? In the Shifa Hospital. Yeah, the same hospital that the IDF cleared out in November and found signs that Israeli hostages were held there, underground terrorist tunnels, and Hamas’s central command under the hospital. Hamas went back to Shifa and barricaged themselves inside because Hamas hides in hospitals. I don’t know how many times I have to say this, but Hamas continuously puts Palestinian civilians in harms way, by turning hospitals into their terrorist hideouts. Meanwhile, the IDF has been supplying food, water, and generators to the hospital because this is a war against Hamas, not against the Palestinians in Gaza. This is what we’re going up against. And Israel will continue to do everything it can to protect civilians, while targeting Hamas terrorists. Gaza will only be free when Hamas is defeated.

How does suspending him solve the problem? Make it make sense? It is a cheap political distraction that solves absolutely nothing. Let’s be real: How does firing a hospital administrator fix overcrowding? Our doctors and nurses are already treating patients in hallways and on floors because the demand is overwhelming. What does Akandoh want next? For the CEO to start treating patients in the car park? If the minority wants to talk about accountability, let’s look at the real bottleneck. We have three completed hospitals right here in the region that could instantly relieve the pressure on KATH. Trede district hospital, Oforikrom district hospital, Ashanti regional hospital Sewua 250 bed facility. Instead of operationalizing these facilities, the current leadership at the Ministry of Health is busy paying security personnel to stop citizens from filming the reality on the ground. The constant vilification and shifting of blame onto our hardworking health professionals is unconscionable. This isn’t a leadership problem at KATH; it is a systemic failure of government execution and a desperate attempt by the Minister to cover up his own shortcomings.
