Indian politics and indian bureaucracy wouldnt do it .. and even if it tries to the people of the locality wouldnt allow it. Mostly are unregistered unregulated if govt or anyone tries to establish things like shown in video then they will rebel thinking they will loose their livelihood and land rights. And of course there will be some ngo or any political party which spreads rumours that the land will be sold to corporate giants. This applies to current govt as well as when congress was in power

Once they clean up , it has to be kept clean . Past attempts at clean up have resulted in existing vendors relocating to the new plane and new ones taking their place on the roads . Problem gets worse ! They should have a permit and fine system !

Even if they transform the sabzi mandis, sooner or later they will become like they were used to be…jaisa chal ra hai waisa chalne do is their moto😂

It's more civilian issue... Even if Mandis are made as the model suggest many people will still use roads n jam it. .. polluted them.. we need Indore like strict civilian training method

Kalyan tried it. Vendor did not move to the new created market (high cost) and no hafta. Customers did not want to step inside the market and instead wanted convenience of purchasing roadside avoiding few extra steps.

i have a lot of issue with the govt but the public is equally responsible for how things are. In our city they have built a good clean mandi but instead of selling vegetables they all started living in it in there and still sell the products on the roads.

Couple of Reasons: a. No Focus on infrastructure development in remote areas. b. Limited budget for such projects. c. It's hard to get the approval. How will you show your vision?

No matter how you give, people will turn it into a filthy mess. It’s inherent problem with the people itself. This helps govt officials in doing nothing as well as they know people will ruin it anyways whether they work or not. If you enforce any cleanliness, then all the local big shots will start asking do you who I am and do their rowdism. Minority groups will gather in large numbers and show their might against any kind of action. The politicians and liberals will paint this as fascism. End result is this apathy that can never be resolved.

It's not only the job of municipal corporations but the sellers themselves too. They won't leave the place clean after their business is done as they treat it as public responsibility but don't realise that they're part of it too

Because they are too lazy to think something like this, this will require huge budget because if this level of transformation will be done, imagine the budget equally for corruption plus basic civic sense of our people.

Because it is a misconception that Municpal corps give a fcuk about the people or that state or central govts work for the people. THey are here only to keep people in check and go to work so their political donors and the rules-based world order keeps getting high return %.

Its bcoz peobably u hv never been to sabzi mandi. I mean it. At least in my city there are proper built infra that was provided at multiple locations, still these sellers chose to sit on roads. Its the issue of these people and law and order.

Indians lack civic sense. Instead of teaching ABCD in KG and 1 class. Govt should start teaching how to live, how to behave, how to use public properties.

Because, priority is to win electrical & this is not one of the priority which can help candidate to win election. There should be clear agenda points on such improvements and election should be found and assessed on yearly basis.
