DHS policy authorizes the use of deadly force on subjects—even fleeing subjects—whom LEO’s could reasonably perceive to endanger their lives. It’s easy to point fingers after watching the slow-mo replay for the 50th time. But LEO’s don’t get that luxury when a hostile adversary is coming at them with a deadly weapon. They have milliseconds to make a judgment call, knowing that the wrong one could cost them everything. Maybe put yourself in their shoes before you start spouting off.

here’s the issue. it boils down to reaction time and actually being there. if someone accelerates their car at you (even if her intent was to leave she still clipped him) his reaction was she means to harm. i don’t think she should have lost her life. but im not faulting him for that response for that situation. she was wrong the entire time and made mistakes that lead to that incident. should it have cost her her life? no. was that a possibility when you block the road and drive off in a panic when you get confronted? yes. if you want to talk about other stupid shit republicans or democrats do i’d be happy to oblige but this one is very much down the middle. if it was a regular cop or even FBI (non minnesota law enforcement) chances are only minnesota would know about it and it wouldn’t have been pushed front and center

Dude was dragged by a car in Minneapolis a few months ago and the bitch hit him so he fired. Be an ICE agent for a month and get hit by a car at least once, that is intentionally hitting you then talk until you do, you can’t. This just happened 2 weeks ago! The state what did they do to ensure it wouldn’t happen again after ICE had to fire at someone for hitting MULTIPLE PEOPLE with his car, crashing into their vehicle and biting someone, they did NOTHING. That guy was lucky to not get hit and as Frey the mayor said they were “waiting for this to happen!” This is on Walz and Frey they need to enforce the law, ramming your car into an agent or hitting A FEDERAL OFFICER WITH YOUR CAR, is not peacefully protesting. 7/10 ICE arrest in 2025 were people with criminal charges or pending criminal charges. These people have no idea what level of criminal illegal they could be arresting. It could be a kingpin drug smuggling,child stealing, sex trafficking, pedophile creep, and these people are trying to stop ICE from deporting them and enforcing the law. What this woman did was intentional and she set out to do it. We don’t have to like that it happened but actions have consequences.

She was given a lawful command once the guns are drawn, there’s only one of two options: 1) comply, 2) potentially die. It doesn’t matter that she was trying to leave; she hit a federal officer with her car; that car is now a weapon; lethal force is justified. Doesn’t mean you have to like it, but the law doesn’t care about feelings. Lawful commands are lawful commands, and the fact is if she just got out of the car, she’d be alive. If you think what they’re doing is unlawful, that’s what court is for. Using your car as a weapon is not acceptable and has been long established. If your local police or sheriff were given the command, the same scenario would have been the same result; they now fear you’ll use that weapon to harm others, and they have to respond to the threat of the weapon. She hit a federal officer; she could have killed him if she had only gotten out of the car and obeyed the lawful order; she’d be alive, period.
