Helping its friend out of the rain

Cow has its own cute pet chicken. 🐔💕🐄

Rain or shine, Mum’s got your back. Just watch how a mother hen becomes an umbrella when it rains.

Birds are fed by their parents in their infancy. When the time comes to feed themselves, there can be some confusion when the food does not go into their mouth by itself.

The "Ayam Cemani" is a rare black chicken from Indonesia known for its all-black body.

This is Buster. He's having the best day ever. Gets to play in the pool AND get rained on at the same time. 13/10 every lab's dream

Being waterproof must be nice 😊

It’s a chicken the fuck is he suppose to do check into a hotel for the night

I couldn't believe this cow is afraid of the chicken. 🐄😂🐔

Why did the chicken cross the road?

WHY IS THIS PIGEON PRETENDING TO BE A CHICKEN

my neighbour chicken is walking like a security guy should I be concerned?

this rat in the rain

How about ditching the ebonics and ask "Why DO chickens stand in the rain?"

Because their feathers repel the rain. If they move around and the rain wets the down underneath it would take forever to dry and the chicken could become ill.

So I have 2 flocks and I have not witnessed this. Maybe because he is alone and celebrating no women are nagging him?🤣🤣

So it could clean off all that stinky crap collected from the coop

My ducks do this, too. They seem to stop what they’re doing and just stand there. They don’t seem upset or anything.

It depends on the breed, but chickens don't mind the rain. When it rains, earthworms come out of the ground, so some chickens wait for them to come out.

It’s actually relaxing

Probably for a variety of reasons—birds tend to run hot, so a cooling rain shower is pleasant (they especially love a bath in very cold weather, at least wild birds and my parrots do) and the rain brings up earthworms and other bugs. Sometimes I water my shrubs with the hose dangling on a plant stand, hanging overhead. All the little songbirds will get beneath the hose for a bath, to drink, and scratch around for worms and bugs.

Doesn’t want anyone to see it crying.

Same reason bro. FOOD

🤍

This has the capybara seal of approval

Eternal vigilance is demanded by those who stand Watch

Because getting your cock wet feels so good....

Bugs rise to the topsoil - easy protein! Cools them off too, but if it really starts to pour they will go inside!

It’s a secret
