Should Pelosi and/or McConnell retire from Congress?

Very insightful, the problem is that our gov’t was hijacked over a hundred years ago. Capping the seats in the house has been disastrous, the senate is fundamentally undemocratic and our archaic electoral college system of electing the president has made it so our voice is gone

Well said. Congress was always meant to be the strongest branch of the government; today it is the weakest because its members do not have the courage to use their vested power properly. The Founders intentionally structured our governmental system so that legislative authority would dominate. This stemmed from the belief that Congress, being direct representatives of the people, should have the greatest control over lawmaking. James Madison emphasized this idea in Federalist No. 51, writing, “In republican government, the legislative authority necessarily predominates.” This idea is further reinforced by the Constitution itself, which establishes the legislative branch first in Article I, signifying its primary function in governance.

I support congress having the right amount of power, but only if the following is done 1) Expand house so that there's roughly 1k members 2) No direct election of senators, give control back to states 3) Potus and VP separate tickets
