I remember when she lost in 2024, a local article spoke with voters and they felt she was abandoning them to chase national attention. And 2 years later, from what I saw, it seemed to be the case again.

I voted for Bush the first time, but was very disappointed with her term. It didn't help that she was heavily critical of KH, when her comments carried weight. Bush was too busy trying to be a media star instead of people's business in STL!

As someone who lives in St. Louis...in our state you don't have to be a registered Dem to vote in the Dem primary. The Repub always loses to the Dem in November. Based on that, many Repubs are voting in the Dem primary. I personally know one who said they were voting for Bell

All the critical Black issues you mentioned— maternal mortality, poor health care, and affordability are best addressed by DSA or progressives. The establishment has no answer for us 10 years after Obama.
