Why cyclists hate the creep

You know what.... you ride your cycle in a big city that's very busy with traffic. That means sometimes a motorist, or a cyclist, or a pedestrian, is going to do something wrong. Just because you have cameras strapped pretty much everywhere doesn't mean you need to post it ....!

I keep seeing comments such as the cyclist should have slowed down. Let’s be clear the sole responsibility here is with the driver to wait, and be absolutely sure the path is clear and safe to pass.

It's weird that people think I sped up! Anyone who rides a bikes knows there's no accelerator pedal. People see what they want to see. I was forced to slow right down and almost stop. 🤔

I think I would have slowed down and let him out. If I was in a car or on a bike. Would have cost you seconds. It’s called a London right turn isn’t it?

But there isn't a gap for him. If there had been, he would have pulled out.

The secret of being a good cyclist, motorcyclist, driver… Is to adapt to the ever changing situation unfolding in front of you . It’s nothing new and we all have to do it. You seem more interested in putting yourself in harms way to get footage daily.
